Founded by Laura Clayton, a Licensed Professional Counselor, our practice is rooted in a commitment to supporting each client’s mental and emotional well-being. Serving South Carolina since 2020, we specialize in a range of therapeutic services tailored to meet individual needs, from trauma-focused therapy to family and play therapy.

Laura Clayton - Owner / Psychotherapist
Serving Patients Since 2020
Life is a journey filled with beauty, challenge, and growth, but sometimes the path becomes overwhelming, and asking for help is one of the most courageous steps we can take. At Willow Tree Therapy Group, I offer a safe and supportive space where you can explore your story, heal from past wounds, and reconnect with your sense of self, without judgment.
I specialize in working with individuals ages 9 and up who are experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and grief, as well as those navigating relationship issues, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I also provide support to veterans, helping professionals, and individuals with complex trauma and co-occurring challenges.
My approach to therapy is both clinical and compassionate. I integrate evidence-based practices with somatic and creative techniques, such as mindfulness, yoga-informed therapy, art, and play—honoring the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that meets you where you are and supports where you want to go.
I am certified in Trauma Focused CBT through MUSC. These tools allow me to support clients through attachment wounds and relational trauma with a focus on empowerment and resilience.

John Clayton
Co-Owner/Business Manager
Martin is a dedicated husband and the business manager of Willow Tree Therapy Group, bringing a blend of compassion, strategic acumen, and organizational expertise to his role. With a background in business administration and a passion for supporting mental health initiatives, Martin plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and long-term growth of the practice.
Martin’s journey into the mental health field began through his supportive role as a husband to his spouse, while serving in he served in the Unites States Airforce, a licensed therapist and founder of the practice. Recognizing the critical need for mental health services and the positive impact his spouse's work had on the community, Martin decided to leverage his skills in business management to contribute more directly to the practice's success.
As the business manager, Martin oversees a wide range of responsibilities, including financial planning, marketing, client relations, and team coordination. His keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills ensure that the practice operates smoothly, allowing the clinical team to focus on providing high-quality care to their clients. Martin’s strategic vision has been instrumental in expanding the practice's reach, both in-person and through telehealth services, making mental health support accessible to a broader audience.
Martin is known for his warm and approachable demeanor, making him a trusted point of contact for clients and colleagues alike. He is deeply committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where both staff and clients feel valued and supported. His efforts to foster a positive workplace culture and promote professional development have contributed to a highly motivated and cohesive team.
In his personal life, Martin enjoys spending quality time with his spouse and family, exploring the outdoors, and pursuing hobbies such as fishing and hunting. He believes in the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and strives to model this in his own life.

My name is Michelle Dodd, and I am the owner of Zuritech Billing Solutions, LLC. ZBS was established in 2021 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. During the time of the pandemic, I decided to seize the opportunity of working from home by taking my career to a higher level, by establishing my own Medical Billing Company. Knowing the struggles of physicians and their staff members; patients and their families, I decided that I wanted to be more involved. I wanted to contribute to my community by using my knowledge, skills and education to help make a difference in the medical field.​
I have been in the healthcare industry for over 12 years, which includes the last 6 of those years working in various parts of the revenue cycle management process. I have a BSHA in Healthcare Administration, and I have completed coursework in Medical Office Administration, as well as Medical Terminology. I am still expanding on my knowledge of the healthcare industry, but my organization is dedicated to providing comprehensive medical billing solutions to healthcare providers, and my mission is to enhance the financial performance of healthcare practices by delivering efficient, accurate, and reliable billing services.

Zuritech Billing Solutions aims to reduce administrative burdens, improve cash flow, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. My purpose is to cater to various healthcare providers, including small private practices, physician groups, rural and underserved communities, as well as small hospitals.
